Rare White Poppies
Rare White Poppies
White poppies are both rare and beautiful. I have only seen them in certain places in one place, Bartlett Lake, a man-made reservoir lake, in the Tonto National Forest, near Phoenix, Arizona. I make a pilgrimage to Bartlett Lake every year to see the first wildflowers and have never been disappointed. On my first springtime visit, I was startled to see them. Even at Bartlett Lake, they are only found on one stretch of road. At the right time of day, with a combination of sun and shade, their delicate petals and orange centers are captivating. Bring this remarkable beauty into your life with this print. Wherever you put it will become your special place.
