Wild onions and the Fiddleneck wildflower put their vibrant colors on display in open fields in the springtime in central Arizona.  The colors always amaze, with nature providing the vibrant purples in the wild onion and yellows on the distinct shape of the Fiddleneck stem.  Fiddleneck flowers uniquely open from the bottom of the plant to the top, causing the stem to uncoil.
